How old are you?: 37 as of last weekend

How long have you been playing on Platelamp's Survival? (List playtime/Plate Points): About three weeks, but I was afk on vaca for a week. I currently have 0 platelamp points, heh. I've been back from vaca for a day, so I've only had a few hours to play since the reset.

List experience: I have never been a mod for minecraft, but I've been playing and been a mod for online multiplayer games from the beginning of online multiplayer games. No, really, I've been on since Muds if anyone even remembers those. So basically, I've moderated for anything from text based adventures back in the day to tf2 more recently.

If you have no experience moderating, tell me why you would be a good moderator:

Why do you want to be a moderator?:
Well, I'm old. To me, that means I've basically seen every type of griefing there is and can accurately identify when someone is lying about it or not.

This is usually not an asset, but I don't have many friends in minecraft so I won't be swayed by allegiances...I treat everyone the same. I've banned people before, sometimes permanently (if warranted), but use an even hand and won't treat someone unfairly in either way just because I like/don't like them.

I'm on at times when other moderators aren't...I'm in the cst (gmt -6) and work from home so you'll see me on at many different times day and night.

But to ultimately answer your question of "why", I simply want to help out and I'm good at this sort of thing.
